All my stuff I found on etsy......I like really primitive stuff and every now and then I find someone selling beads made from Osage orange wood or from turned naturally shed deer antler and I can't help but buy them......I have also found people selling hand- embroidered leather rings which are fab for sticking a dread or two thru to get them out of your face.....I keep hunting for someone doing wood burned Celtic or Viking designs......

I just had this made by 'Suryart' on etsy ^^ I kinda love it. (I saw her necklaces and had to inquire as to if she made dread beads, which apparently she does!)

I just got these from Flame Touched Glass... Memorial beads for Moon. Melissa sent me a third, so I'm hanging on to it for safekeeping.

I made this one a couple weeks ago. I think it's my most complimented one so far.

You MADE it! Awesome! I love those tiny beads crafts, but I never done them myself. I usually don't post here cuz I don't think I want to do beads myself, but this I may consider?? I just also love the feel of those crafts. Anyway, cool!

I just also love the feel of those crafts. Anyway, cool! It's easier than it looks once you get the hang of it. I prefer working with polymer clay but I don't have all the fancy tools to do anything special right now. The beads I got from the Walmart for like $15-$20. It came with like 20 different colors and a tool and string and everything in it. It just takes patience and some squinting. I'm hoping to do some more detailed ones soon.

This is one of mine. I made it a while ago along with a bunch of others when I needed some way of keeping a few dreads from merging with neighbours.

Thank you Admin, for saving that photo! I still have my beloved coin, only it's about 10 inches longer than the original post

And now I shall show you some of my latest collections. I have worn some of these beads for over 3 years now, each has a place and a memory involved and I am reluctant to ever take them out. I made this pirate dread bead three years ago after attending my best friends pirate themed wedding in Florida. A ring from Hong Kong. A spiral made from a recycled coin from Bali Abalone shell from Thailand Made from a cultured pearl, and a strip of fabric from the bridesmaids dress of my other best friends wedding in Florida. A shell I found on the beach of Koh Lanta Thailand There are so many more things with so many more stories, but I like to think my hair has accidentally taken on a Piratey theme!
