Thought this would be fun... what are some song lyrics you misheard the first time you listened but which you can't help but hear because you prefer them to the actual words?
For me, I always hear "you've got depression on you" in the verses of this Gorillaz track.

Cool. This sounds like fun 😁 As a child I would sing all of the time. If I didn't know the words, I would make up my own lyrics to go along with the melody. (It would drive my pops mad and I secretly enjoyed f'n with him. Ha!) This is the first one that comes to mind where I thought I was singing the right words. It's not an incredibly great tune, but I remember singing "Hush hush, Keep it down clown, Voices scary". I seriouly prefer my lyrics over the original.
I'm sure I've got plenty more. It just tickled me to relisten to this tune as an adult and realize how close I came to getting it right, but still being sooo very wrong. I would sing "It's so scary" instead of "Voices scary" just to mess with my pops. Both were wrong though. 😂

Kat, my favourite podcast (the one that 'racist Stephen Hawking' came from) does something you'd probably enjoy where they play a song that the guest has never heard before and the guest has to try and sing along to it.
(this is also one of the funniest things I've ever listened to)
