My journey from crochet to natural dreadlocks...

Lenght before: 35 cm (13 inches)
Day 1 with dreads: 7cm(!!!!) (2-3 inches)
Made by a loctician (backcombing and crochet hook)

But never used the crochet hook again

I'm 6 month in now (new pics above!) and I've noticed my dreads begin to knot together if I don't seperate them daily.
I use sea salt spray and that made my hair dreading up really fast! 

And they've grown a lot! Started with 7cm and after 6 month they are measuring 13.5cm and the roots are dreaded, too!

I've reached the 7 month mark and my dreads grew 2cm in just 5 weeks! 

As you can see they're looking a bit frizzy - as always after washing  
I'm oiling them frequently with my husband's beard oil because my tips feel dry and brittle. So I'm using sea salt spray, and the oil, alternately once a week or so...
