So Ive had 2 dreads for over a year and a half decided i love them and wanted to do the rest. I have my appointment set this upcoming monday. My question is how much lengh do you think ill lose i feel like i have a n average body type and my hair goes down to mid breast length. Anywho how short do you think itll end up. And any tips on the first few weeks with a full head of new dreads

Shrinkage is random from person to person my wife had waist length hair it shrunk to a little past the shoulder. My hair was neck length and stayed that length.

Thanks! My 2 i have i lost about an inch and a half. So i hope its about the same for the rest of my hair I've grown it out for 2.5 years I'd hate to lose much length haha

Just let it lock up natural. You don't worry about these things in that mind. Ooops my hair became dreads by accident. That's my method.

I have lost half my length each time. It's a good thing though, because all that makes your dread better.
