Got high tops locs, have no problem with patients.. I just want to make sure I'm not wasting time if they did them wrong.. #1. It wasn't to painful and im not sure she did them super tight, another thing is I have hairs on the front that aren't even loced. #2. she used wax loc them completely #3. she used scissors on every loc, im not sure what for. #4. The mid sections of the locs are unraveling it seems, and maybe some bases but I'm not sure. It's only been two days so honestly I'm not freakin out, just wanna know if I should go get them redone with a loctition. Here are examples some pictures: imgur.com/a/L6pI2I'm getting them retwisted in week 2, so just need some expert advise on how to move forward. THANKS!

Wax is always a no no, so you could attempt to boil it out with hot water.. But that isn't always effective. Looseness is fine as backcombing is only for the initial separation - they will become looser before they lock back up (but wax will stop this.. And will never let proper locs form) The scissors bit is concerning o.O And retwisting isn't usually needed - redoing a starting method kinda hinders the process.. They're best left alone! ( and saves you money)

Immediately. For a clean look, 'twisting' is not a method for Caucasian hair. If you wish to keep them maintained, you can crochet them/pay for someone to do it for you, but do not overdo it as it can cause breakage unless the person knows what they are doing.

Are you refering to twisting when i say retwist? Or based on my pics?

Are you refering to twisting when i say retwist? Or based on my pics? "Twisting" is a method used on really curly hair they basically twist strands occasionally and it dreads, twist and rip is when u take 2 strands of hair and "twist" then grab random strands and "rip" down towards the root, it's more of a pull then a rip, don't let the name scare you. And as stated for a maintained look from the beginning you want to either t&r + cricket or Blackcomb + crochet, it's pretty long process and costs a bit. Worst case and not yet best for your hair is a dread perm.
