lol he's awesome morri. And yay for the other stuff posted the last few pages. HippyFish I don't really know how to explain the animation process. The software I use has a function which makes it easier to move a character around the scene but all the actions etc have to be drawn frame-by-frame. And plus, to get that "wobbly" line effect, I have to draw the same thing a bunch of times rather than just re-using the same drawing lol. But yeah I'm at about 20 seconds currently so it's a very long process but still much quicker than I expected.

Awww Yoda is cute morri and thank you I'm assuming that is amigurumi? I've never tried it, always have to reteach myself how to crochet, but can go years and still know how to knit lol. Well done. @vacantalleyways Probably would be like a sponge, they are slightly porous, not quite to the extent of a sponge because they have a decent amount of density, but I'm sure if submerged they eventually sop up a fair bit of water. ____________________ Just starting to get back into bracelet/necklace knotting. Pulled out my stash earlier and have a few unfinished projects I'm going to pick back up on. Fingers crossed I actually finish them haha!

Awesome HippyFish, keep us updated. Right so I've finished the first "segment" of the animation... still another 6 minutes to go but as this bit kind of works on its own, I thought I'd share. I won't do so again until the thing is complete but I like how it's going.

What fun animation haha. Is this your first work for them? (I don't really follow podcast, though I have dug through a little bit of the thread here on DT)... If its all in all a complete surprise I can imagine they will be thrilled and LOVE it.

It's pretty much the first animation I've ever made.... which is why I'm surprised it's going alright. I was worried I'd spend all this time and then it'd be unusably rubbish lol. And thanks!

Ahaha Dreadlocktruth, it's cool to see the "story" unfolding as you work on this.. I've never gotten into podcasts either, but I'm cracking up about the crazy lady antics, so I'm sure they'll think your animated rendition is a riot. Nice micki, can't wait till I can be growing most of my own produce. What kind of peppers have you got?

HippyFish, I am trying to grow Banana peppers. I went to Puerto Rico in January & had them for the first time & fell in love. They are so tasty, and just a little bit spicy. Hope they grow, I planted them at the same time as my tomatoes(fingers crossed).

I've made some good progress on the animation, almost at 2 minutes 30... I have about 3 minutes left to animate (and the next bit is the scene that made me WANT to animate this story so I'm excited about getting to it already) but I thought I'd show you the first chunk and reveal a bit more of the tale haha... I'm kind of liking the style, even though I only chose it for ease.... I can already see a few ways to improve it in animation but I'm kind of stuck with what I started with, on this one. But I like it.

I'm also having some slight audio sync problems because the rendering isn't quite matching the preview so excuse the slightly out of sync speech while I'm tweaking that.

Not working on this right this second but my daughter, Londyn had to make an Earth Day game out of recycled materials so we made a bowling game with Pringles cans and a rubber band ball. Happy Earth Day!

Aha that's awesomely cute. @vacantalleyways No real set etiquette... I'll sometimes post comparisons if there's a huge difference but it's up to you. Nice work all! I'm kind of dying to get this animation finished, now, it's sort of dominating my free time.
