ok, let's see if this works. This won't be a "currently working on" bit, but it's what comes to mind when I think of coarse feeling dreads and I'd prefer them to be a little softer. (just throw my head in the dryer with a fabric softner! hahaha)

Oh! I mentioned this one too. (the altered shirt) I re-sized it but kept the sleeves and torso long. Um...if you're able to look close, and I don't know if you can, well there's white stitching and the sleeves are a little poorly done. I've since fixed the thread color, but there's nothing more I can do with the sleeves. I had to learn the hard way on this one! Not too bad though, right?

I assume those are the size of the original pictures.

You're probably better off using something like imgur.com to upload pics and then paste the embed code here, as we're going to have to turn off the "attachments" feature soon because we only have a limited amount of space. But on the plus side, imgur etc resize the images so you'll be able to see them in the post without having to clicking through.

Nice projects! I've never done it but it looks cool.

No sign up required and you don't have to download anything.

Just go to imgur.com, hit the upload button and do all that. Then, if you've only uploaded one image, look at the different types of code down the right hand side and copy the one under the title "BBCode (Forums)" and just paste that straight into here and it'll show up.

Also, if you're using Tapatalk at any point then you can upload directly via that.

I know we have (and used to have) a bunch of people who loved illustration - and saw this as a fun sounding competition: www.wwpbic.com
Doubt I'd manage to submit anything great but some of the artists on here have awesome talent and might have fun with it ^^

Thanks for the link, Dave... sadly not right for me as I'm not a picture book illustrator (I've kind of wanted to but never found a satisfying style so I've no portfolio) buy maybe james?
