It's a great timeline to show folks the progression. Looking lovely, great freckles the Irish sun is bringing out.

I hope so too!
Streamlined my timeline on the first post and took out a lot of unnecessary photos to help it load faster.

Aww thanks Peter! I love being a red head, so the only thing that held me back from locks was the thought that I couldn't dye my hair. Until I found this forum, lurked for a bit and saw people had dyed successfully and so I was hooked. At the minimum every 6 weeks, at the maximum every 10. Generally I leave it as long as I can, you can see some pics (months 4.5 & 1 year) where the colour fades but it never disappears just gets lighter and lighter. Hi! Omg I love your dreads 😍 they look so natural but still neat. And the colour is great! Just have a small question: what sort of texture does the dye you use have? Cause I imagine if its too thick it can't saturate into the dread very well. Do you have that problem or do you do something to avoid it?

Wow thank you Helene! It's a heavy texture - I use Pravana Chromasilk and it's a thick, conditioner sort of texture - but I mix it with a good quality conditioner to make it last and then just saturate every dread. It takes probably 3/4 bottle of 500ml conditioner and 1/2 tube of Pravana

Baking soda, squeeze of lemon... Hang on there's a recipe in here somewhere... Sink of hot water, 2 tbsp baking soda, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 2 tbsp salt and add a few drops of tea tree oil (antibacterial). Soak for up to an hour and rinse out well. The deep cleans strip the colour out so I tend to do them before I have to do a root bleach - out with the old before adding the new. Seems to work ok for now, but conditioning my hair has made the dreading process longer. For example - my hair is only just starting to shrink up now!

Even the fade to orange looks good on you Kezi. Especially against the blue. Lovely ropes lady. Getting wild.
