The easiest way to dread is to let it go. The hardest way to dread is to let it go.

I can't get a neat line without chopping halfway into dreads so it looks a bit crappy. Bit too much of a hair-do for me. Not a clean undercut and not enough gone for a hawk. Be better with a few weeks growth. Hard shaving your own head without chopping off dread roots. My eyeballs hurt from looking behind me. Another persons hands and eyes would help in future. Don't that go for a lot of things..

My wife shaves my undercut and she still manages to gank a dread or two Yeah, really, I think the only way to get a clean line is to undercut first, then section and dread. If not, you get what you and I are experiencing. I'm not so much for clean lines and yours looks fine imo.

It looks good, James. It does take a bit of getting used to right after you've done it (when I had my undercut, I did that a few times... not always intentionally! ;p) but it'll set in. How many did you chop off?

This is what I looked like a few years back. Curly-ish hair. And I'm big. I'm grown up. ;p La la la.

Well at least you didn't learn wouldn't like a dreadhawk by actually doing a dreadhawk, like you've threatened.

I now know I prefer to hide, maybe in library's with a pair of glasses as a prop and tidy dreads. The punk rocker must stay secret.
