Hiya DT! Getting to know dreadheads over the years from ma travels, most (if not all) of us have a deep connection with MUSIC! Yay!! We enjoy shows, concerts and festivals... so I thought we could share pictures of our concert adventures here. Old or new photos, doesn't matter which

The words on the screen below read "YOU ARE AT A MUSICAL CONCERT. CONGRATULATIONS" Ha.. so thoughtful that screen be. This was where I saw Fleet Foxes play in the cozy 'Alabama Theater'. uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com Cage the Elephant in Chattanooga Tn The Cage the Elephant show was great! Very small dive in Chattanooga, Right in the front the whole show! The lead singer Matt Shultz was quite the mover... Every photo i have if him was a complete blur. Much like Mick Jagger on stage!(or I coulda been a bit wasted and didn't have a proper grip on ma camera as I danced and tried to capture this moment in history). Oh and gotta hang with the band afterwards. The bus driver of their tour bus was asking people if we would pet his lizard if he paid us :/ Ha! But the band came out before I could get ma wallet. (Jk).

Really really old picture of me (1996) in the mosh pit of the Big Mele on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. The Mighty Mighty Bostones are playing. This was before cellphones cameras so this was taken by a local newspaper photographer and put in an article.

Haha jxbx you have some great pics. I try not to take photos at gigs or anything, especially now since hundreds of other people do so (just so I can try and be more "present"), but I do look at amateur vids etc and take screenshots if I show up. Here's some more of me at NIN gigs lol. (those are my dreads)

Those are supa cool Paul! Yay! Thank ya muchly for sharing Gotta great spot you, and I see your devil horns to the sky I complete agree with the being in the moment thing. But mobile devices are cool in that you can raise them to honor the band in light, instead of flickin a zippo old school, which was always done in the best intentions... but left burnt fingers behind! Ha. I ran sound for the University I attended and work the 'Back of House' mixing board for a band named Galatic. I was amazing to see all the cell phones sparkle in an otherwise dimly lit room. Magical

Thank ya muchly for sharing Gotta great spot you, and I see your devil horns to the sky This is the problem really, I think I've spoiled myself for Nine Inch Nails shows, now... the last 4 that I've been to I basically got to the barrier (within the first 2 rows) and so I know if I ever don't make it that close again it's going to really suck lol. I even made friends with Trent's personal bodyguard at one show!

gingerdreadman yay!! Cooool.. and you were supa close to the show too. Awesome Paul I heard ya on the experience of being front and center of a show. It seemed the older I got, the further back I found myself at shows, unit I was in back laying on an afghan! Ha! But you can't very well do things of that sort at a NIN show... ha. They'd trample you :/ Just being in a venue makes me happy... the vibrations shaking the ground, the adrenaline of dancing humans, letting loose all your worries, as if that moment couldn't last long enough... sigh. Shows never last long enough, unless you're at a festival, then you find yourself scurrying about between stages, as all your favorite artist decided to play at the same time! Ha. Or that has been my experience

Yay @haircare . That dude is short, but awesome!! Mine are always blurred too. I always blame the camera or the subject... but if all ALL my concert photos are blurred... I might need to see AA or something :/ thank you for sharing sweetness! Muah

Bonnaroo is a festival in Manchester Tn. I was living 30 miles north in Murfreesboro, TN, in college, and attended every year from 2002-2010, then once again 2014, which is when these pics were taken. You camp out under the stars from Thursday till Sunday!! After hours shows of local talent.. music blasting all hours from every campsite! I had to get out ma sodering gun to get ma notebook to work so I could snatch up these beauts. Starting day Thursday: peeps setting up tents and a magical rainbow ♡ It's much greater than that photo ...but..rainbow! Then ma favorite act Vampire Weekend Followed by the expression of all expressions... written in balloon

gingerdreadman The first several years were tops! Then it started getting more and more commercial... but still good acts and even better vibes! I'm lucky to have lived so close. The first year they were just getting toes wet. Not sure of what is what... and it was pretty much anything goes ♡ Dude's calling out as you passed by "this stuffs..that stuffs..knuguffs..ect". I know things aren't necessarily needed to enjoy a good show, but they don't hinder either!! Ha!

Haha. I have never been to a festival like that. But imagined that to be how they would be. Ozzfest was my first concert i went to in '99. But its a single day. So if i do make it to cali roots it will be my first real festival.
