I LOVE your timeline! You are going to have such an awesome set! Why thank you! For me, my hair has always been like an artist's canvas I could wear, plus I'm a control freak, so taking my hands off it was a very challenging decision, but I've been enormously rewarded throughout the entire experience and feel so fortunate for its amazing self-generating expression... it manages to be more 'me' *without* me

Oh wow, what a journey! Your hair was awesome before, of course - but now it's even awesomer. I love the wild, squiggly stages, too.

Oh wow, what a journey! Your hair was awesome before, of course - but now it's even awesomer. I love the wild, squiggly stages, too. Thank you! I do quite miss that splendid insanity period, but the creeping progress it's currently making is pretty similar, slowly going back the way of the squiggle--it's going to be 2.5 years here in the next couple days so I'm due an update to show how it's changing (and I can't put if off since I called myself on it) Gorgeous. As others have said, I cannot get over the shrinkage! Thank you! I knew I was in for a significant loss, but I never thought it would be so much--after some 7 years of growing it (from 1/2") and half that time as long as it was, it was something of a shock to have it all disappear in a matter of a few months, but as much as I initially thought I'd spazz at that point it really didn't feel like a loss Yes, you may be able to get an award for most length lost! That's amazing & looks good! *bows* I am shrinkage warning embodied! and thank you! ^_^ I feel vindicated in my obsessive but failed pre-dread search for examples of dreads from hair as long as mine--now I get to be one
