creative juices flowing-train of thoughts...
well, what was the first rated R (and/or PG-13) movie you saw IN THEATRES? (Has to be theater or rental I guess). What was the first you saw when you were old enough? (Chaperoned...or not?)
I WILL put mine, IF anyone else wants to play.

I'm not sure but it's very likely to have been some horror film or twisted drama . I know I saw David Lynch's Blue Velvet under the age of 10 and probably sat on the sofa with my dad. Along with various Hammer Horrors as a child. Lol. I also know I watched Alfred Hitchcock's Frenzy about a serial murderer strangling women around age 8 at home with the folks as you do. Still makes me laugh.

But besides the twisted stuff my parents 'made me watch', as a kid probably first video I got I wanted to watch above my age was Robocop the original on VHS, that too at around age 8 or 9. Pretty sure that was an age 18 certificate.

Ha^ I know my first R rated movie was horror for sure. There's just been sooo many I can recall the actual titles. This reminded me though that when I was in elementary school, I threw a Halloween party and had Cujo and Pet Sematary on vhs. I really wraped those kids brainz all up! Ha. Most of them called their parents to come pick them up early!! Ha. I can imagine now how upset the parents of my friends were, cursing me as their kids lie awake with horrible dreams waiting the other side of slumber!

Ok... the first R flick I watched in theaters was the one with Jesse Spano from 'saved by the bell'... she was a stripper? I can't remember the name. I wasn't 18 yet, but knew the guy selling tickets and went because all my buds were dude's and I guess they just wanted to see titties! Ha.
