Ok, so was on another site and saw this and just thought this would be fun. Plus, I know a few really well, but maybe you all have some favorites that Ineed to check out. gonna tag you purpledaze cuz you kinda got me thinking about it again. ok here are mine Kashmir and immigrant song were the first to come to mind.
then, I want to add D'yer Maker... Dancing Days (can I just say that I like this cuz of STP or vice versa. Tbh, might have heard STP first....although, Zeppelin was playing in the house before I could even...idk, read? Lol), and black dog. adding The Song Remains The Same (for that "funky" second half ) Over the Hills and Far Away
Your turn! XD

All of "Houses of the Holy" and "Physical Graffiti". Did a time lapse of driving down a volcano with "Boogie With Stu" if you're interested:

For me it's their version of Travelling Riverside Blues from the 1969 BBC sessions. It's looser than most of their stuff and they seem to be feeding off and following each other.

It's still so weird seeing BBC! (Yeah, idk why I never knew they were English...but hey! I was just a kid! ) Yeah, I know my folks had/have? both those records, as well as III, I guess it it called (I use to play with the picture dial thing while we listened. Haha!) ..but I don't recall, well either of these songs. What a diverse style they had huh?! (Just played Houses of the Holy, song. )

Oohh...Loves me all kinds of Zeppelin so it's hard to pick favs. The ones that I have the most fun playing on the guitar are the funky alternative tunings of Jimmy Page like Black Mountain Side: D-A-D-G-A-D And Bron-Y-Aur Stomp: C-F-C-F-A-C

Love all those dongs. The immigrant song reminds me of Jack Black in SCHOOL OF ROCK singing the intro in the van with all the kids. Classic goodness!! The tribute album also great. STP ♡ muy bueno

lol KaTune maybe (just maybe) you want to edit that.^^ oh man School of Rock/Jack Black! XD And seriously, don't get me started on STP! For the record, the song I keep thinking of though is "Trippin' On a Hole In a Paper Heart". If you're up for "new" music (and I fear getting tomatoes or worse thrown at me for what I'm about to say lol) well, believe it or not My Chemical Romance has a few songs that...well, sound similar to STP, but one totally reminds me of Zeppelin. Those would be... Save Yourself, I'll Hold them Back and Destroya XD

omg katune KaTune! ok, I'll behave now. and i DO have a life, but this is what I'd rather be doing. I have to say this though, that I haven't actually personally been attacked for liking MCR. Some I know may not prefer it and I may have gotten the occasional ribbing from thehubby (*whispers -but he actually REALLY likes Destroya ), but I have read some pretty hurtful/hateful things and that's just not right. You see it's. ..it's more than the music....it's about the band members, man, and the community of fans man, and the whole atmosphere is just one big peace train and... lmao but seriously, I like this band for how it promotes life and love and it's really too bad that such a good thing had to end (they brokeup). But their legacy and fanbase is still going strong! and "if we sing these words we'll never die"...ok, did not mean to write SO much uhhh and to segue...well i just like this lyric very much, "if life ain't just a joke, then why are we laughing?" right? Right! Misty Mountain Hop is my lastaddition, because i really have to stop, because u are right, its hard to pick....kashmir tho, thats my no. 1.

That's a really hard question! My favourite albums are probably Led Zeppelin II and Houses of the Holy, and Led Zeppelin IV.. and Led Zeppelin (the first album).. it's so hard to choose! Some of my favourite songs, if I had to choose, would be Over the Hills and Far Away, Babe I'm Gonna Leave You, Going to California, Immigrant Song, D'yer Mak'er, Rock and Roll, Tangerine, Misty Mountain Hop, Ramble On, Bron-Yr-Aur, Dazed and Confused, and Stairway to Heaven of course Thanks for tagging me in this @haircare !

Apart from the obvious ones that have already been mentioned, I've always loved When The Levee Breaks.

Thanks for sharing! I also thought of a big favorite Zeppelin song NO QUARTER!! I recommend listening with headphones on because there is some amazing stereo panning which makes the song that much better. Vinyl + headphones and I'm in heaven

Wish there was multiquote option (although more reason for me to muck it up on this tablet. Btw, the damn thing just froze on me! Grr) Anyway, never heard the Levee one. Kinda like it! (As if there are bad Zeppelin song) KaTune, thia is awesome news! Yeah, the drumming too? I was thinking the "screaming" hahahaa but drums are soo awesome. Ok shh, I am done. I saw No Quarter, but havent properly listened. Oh too bad...er wait, I have headphones. Yeah, I love doing that. Oh gah, tbh again...MCR has some ...ok wait no...u NEED both phones for it, because of the split tracking, or whatever it is called....no, it is Pencey Prep (check them out too ) that has the cool effects...as I am sure a lot of music does, butthis was one I really noticed...I think? Wow! Guess it is time for more PP. Hehe hmm vinyl+? I think I will have to make a visit to my folks' then. ^^
