Yeah separating when washing and placement of the partials is a thing to consider. While it is most common to have them down and back...if we had partials only on the top, we could pin those up and away and just wash the rest (as dreads need less washings asnormal hair). But, of course, we tend to opt forthe hard way...especially in my case! Lol (did them all over the head ) but it does get better once they mature more...as you said in the first comment. One followup, I said the first partials I had were good to encourage the new dreads I wanted to create...the problem is, mine were getting that bulk at the bottom and well, this was causing my "beetles", those matted knots atthe ENDS or middle to ends of my hair...but not at the root end...so it was kindof not good for that...but, you live, you learn! I am better now at managing through all of these things! Hope you are happy with your set! Sure they will be great (even if you conformed haha j/p) Also, I love that shirt you are wearing in your profile pic! k bye.
