<3 more like my best friend who's a hairstylist knows. She just went at me with foil and colour, and next thing I knew I also had highlights in my fringe

Kinda rubbed my hair till most of it was like curly and damaged. Thinking it would felt/dread faster that way. Gonna use my tam at work now, since early stages. I feel it's for the best, since I'm not waiting and feeling social pressure against it.

Haha I always pull the shower curtain shut, grab my dreads at the root and slap them against my hand. I used to headbang but they hit the ceiling if I do that, now.

My other half complains when I turn over at night as I wake him with a face full of dreads He hasn't called me manky head in quite a while, I think he might secretly like them

Several months ago my wife woke me up in an extreme panic. She said i think a spider just ran across me. Then she calmed and said "Or it may have been one of your dreadlocks"
In her defense she woke me up once in a panic and said a bug was in her ear and she could hear it. I thought there was no way. So i googled it and followed directions. Poured some olive oil in her ear and shit you not a bug came to the surface stuck in the oil. I felt so bad because she was crying and I had never heard of this happening to someone. I imagine a bug moving its wings near your eardrum would be a horrifyingly loud sound.

I thought that just happened in Africa/Asia and stuff *Shudders*

Like wow, I have rubbed for 8 days now. You can't see it very well, but you can definitely feel my hair is much more coarse, compact and small dreads are beginning to form. But my bang and neck is a bit stubborn. Kinda more motivated to continue with this black magic :3
