Well, unfortunately I didn't take pictures early on, but I plan on keeping a better record now. I can tell you they went through a very fuzzy falling apart phase before they got their sh** together.
My color is completely natural, including some gray, although I have contemplated henna many times...

nice (Joy, right?)! Yeah, I've contemplated henna as well! I've gotten quite used to the natural though now with having it for over a decade. Ohhh but seeing Sara's timeline and I think Kells (well, lots of folks really) with the color (oh, soapbob too! lol -sorry, the name amuses me) um the growth lines are neat to observe progress...so might reconsider the color.

Actually, follow up question. You do it yourself, or does someone do it for you? I can keep track of 6 or ten dreads, but as many as you have, or the others have,...like, I would go mad doing it! I wouldn't be able to see the back either! Actually, same question to kondzio, because I know he does/did this too. ?

Carrie, I don't do it myself becuase I know that I would do harm for them, I always appoint a visit to locktician/dreadmaker and do it one in a few months (I'll probably make another appointment in late summer/autumn) btw. nice set, rkymtnjoy

just do some research on the Internet to find someone relevant, who won't break Your hair and don't corchet too excessively

Thanks jxbx, I've never been brave enough to dye my hair, dreads or not. Vacant, yes I do my own maintenance. I try to keep it minimal. Mostly just separating after washing and palmrolling in some coconut oil or aloe when they feel dry. This time I did some light crocheting as the loose hairs were getting crazy.

I'm a fan of silver locks too. I have a few places fading to wisdom streaks too.
