thank You wells maybe next time I'll try another way to get them done here it's probably the most common method to make dreads, not many people decide to backcombing only, not even mention neglecting

As long as you are stoked and happy with them then you are golden in my book.

Just had to stop by cuz I saw you on another board. Great set! Very fun! Might be obvious, but i have taken some interest in this technique as well. oh yeah, and it seems you had almost no shrinkage. That's fortunate!

Oh, not like on another forum...I mean on the, I guess you call them "threads" here....on the "updo" one. You see? but I still think ypu might be of the fortunate ones...not sure...but I thought others still had shrinkage, significant shrinkage with this method.

Awesome dreads!!! That crochet hook speaks for itself here really. The upside do doing my own crochet maintenance is scalp tightness does not exist. Lol. Your dreads look great. This method has always been my favorite do to the results it can create when done the right way.

thanks guys now I'm wondering when I should decide to have maintenance done - in 1-2 months just before starting a new work or maybe wait more until September/October or even more not caring much... I don't want to weaken them too much and think only about roots, there's no need to care about the rest of length, only few inches from head

They're looking really good. You can tidy any loose hairs yourself with a blunt embroidery type needle. But I don't think you need to do a thing. Looking nice like the nice person you are.

Looking nice like the nice person you are. can I ask this here?...how do you do that with the needle? like, are the lose hairs hypothetically long enough to go through the eye of the needle and weave in...or do you just poke the hair in??
